Seasons Of The Soul

My life is full of seasons
Times of trouble and stress
But this is just a season
And I pray for the best
Times I feel sad and blue
I read the Bible
And know what the Lord says is true
There are times I have no feelings about
How the day is going
And it's a time for resting
And a time for growing
The season I love best is
When I am at rest because
It's a season of hope and happiness
I look for the season of joy and good times
For that is a season I want all the time
Every feeling is a season
And some I did not say
For I know it’s only a season
And each feeling won't last
Past a day
