INSIGHTS INTO THE PASSAGE OF TIME

Why cover your face with those swiftly moving hands as if ashamed?
Don't you realize that wisdom follows in synchronized step?
I'll admit, many are "ticked-off" at you!
Continuum is not an easily reconciled notion.
Now pertaining to lapses, wrinkles in, and things like deja vu...
Kindly explain yourself.
Humans seldom understand theories that are not ephemeral;
You, on the other hand, are ageless... immortal.
How is it that we can never get enough of you,
Yet, you BOTHER us so?!?
Could it be that immortality is what we aspire to?
Time will tell...
Wisdom nips our heels.
Like fine wine, you make us better.
Tick proudly, father...
Our nemesis, our friend.
