Color Me Pretty

By Tammy

“Mommy, color me pretty.”

Prayerfully, carefully, I begin.

What color is pretty?

Is it a color easily recognized?

How will I know it when I see it, Lord?

The Holy Spirit whispers, “Love, love is the color of pretty most chosen by God,

man did not unearthed it, nor has he fully apprehended it, but you may have full use of it”

His response thunders in my soul.

I am inspired!

Covering every inch of the canvas the Lord has provided, using skilled restraint,

I bathe my little one in the color given me by the creator.

Unconditional,

Universal, and

unfathomable.

Rich and bold is its hue.

The Lord guides me with His skilled hands.

I yield.

“Mommy, will you color me pretty?”

I respond, “Yes sweet, with great honor.”
