The You in Me

By Tammy Tucker

Often I relate to You by,

Silently, sitting here, and waiting…….

For the right opportunity, the how, to voice my feelings, and listen for Your responses.

For it is often that I need to have a tête-à-tête with You.

In our time of fellowship, time is extravagantly spent.

As You validate me.

And I worship You.

You are the adhesive that merges heaven and earth in me.

Lord, You, enable me to breathe easy, effortless breaths when life wants to pace me

faster than me natural God given stride.

You breathe, I inhale, and the equation causes my words to give life to the hearer.

You sharpen me to see the value in others,

and how we affect each others growth, connection and understanding of You.

So, I sit here silently, breathing with You, waiting and listening………
